A taut thriller, Wait Until Dark is the perfect night out if you're looking for an edge of your seat nail-biter! Written by Frederick Knott, this tricky play is set over the course of one tense night in the house of blind Greenwich village housewife Susy. Unbeknownst to her, her late husband accidentally brought a very valuable doll into the house, and now three dangerous con-men show up at her door, desperate to take it from her. But when the doll can't be found, things turn nasty. Susy must wait until dark when she and her assailants are on an equal footing, and then make her play.
Wait Until Dark was first performed on Broadway in 1966, and then memorably adapted for the big screen a year later with Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin. This Great Lakes Theater Company production is directed by Joseph Hanreddy.
