NO ORCHESTRA!
The ballet fell flat without the orchestra. Of course, we were told to come prepared with our vaccinations and Covid tests. But the Nutcracker at the Academy of Music didn’t prepare me, the customer, the decision to pull most of the show (the live music) before the ballet started. I brought my entire family so it was too difficult to walk out. No magic, no fun.
