Iconic radio host Tom Joyner celebrates 25 years in the biz
Earning the nicknames of "The Hardest Working Man in Radio" and "The Fly Jock", Tom Joyner spent eight years flying between Texas and Illinois so he could host both the Dallas KKDA morning show and DJ Chicago's WGCI afternoon show. In 1994, he made the leap and began hosting the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show, bringing his loveable antics, optimistic energy and wry humour to a broader American audience.
In 2018, Joyner retired after half a century in the radio industry and to celebrate he's setting off to have one last hurrah on a cross country tour, bringing along a host of friends to perform and help him look back on his stellar career during the One More Time Experience. Special guests include Philly soul legends Frankie Beverly and Maze, as well as Nashville singer songwriter KEM.
